A large not for profit organisation in Hampshire is on the lookout for an Interim Head of Management Accounting on a twelve month FTC. Key duties include:
1. Leading an established team in management accounts; motivating the team to strive to provide an exceptional service to the wider business
2. Taking ownership of the organisation’s financial planning and forecasting processes, being the key point of contact for senior finance and non-finance leaders
3. Take ownership for the provision of KPIs and financial insights across the business
4. Identify areas to take advantage of new business intelligence systems, and revolutionize the way management accounting is provided across the board.
This role will be an excellent opportunity for a strong team leader who can identify what ‘good’ looks like, and implement changes to strive for improvements. The organisation operates a hybrid working pattern with 20-40% of the working week in the office.
Candidates will be considered according to the following criteria:
5. Hold a full accountancy qualification and substantial experience leading high performing teams in finance
6. Have a strong background in management accounts, ideally in large, complex environments
7. Have a history of effective change making by identifying opportunities for improvements
