Housing Management – Associate Solicitor– Salary up to £60,000
The Role
We are excited to present a thrilling chance to become a part of a nurturing, driven, and creative team, within an award-winning leading law firm who are seeking an ideal Associate who is eager to showcase their technical and practical legal expertise.
Due to the development of the firm’s Dispute Resolution Housing Department, it is now seeking to appoint an experienced associate to work alongside its existing Housing Management Team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a housing management environment including experience with providing expert legal advice to registered social landlords and local authority clients across Wales and England.
There is a steady flow of new instructions from existing clients surrounding issues such as tenancy enforcement arising out of nuisance behaviour, criminal activity or anti-social behaviour and other issues to include defending disrepair claims, homelessness and the firm is seeking a motivated and organised Solicitor with ambition, to provide an exceptional level of service to its clients.
The Candidate
* A qualified solicitor 3+ PQE or CILEX equivalent is considered
* Ideally will have a similar background in housing management litigation
* Prior experience in handling a caseload of landlord and tenant issues, as well as experience in supervising others and managing workflows
* Must have excellent level of client care
* Must have a high standard of verbal and numerical reasoning
* Must have the ability to analyse, evaluate and communicate information logically
* Have proficient IT skills
* Experience with the supervision of others
