We Ship Global Forwarding & We Prep E-commerce Logistics & Fulfilment is a fast-growing 3rd party logistics provider (3PL) and international freight forwarder. We specialise in shipping goods to Amazon FBA warehouses worldwide, D2C shipping, kitting, unloading containers, and managing customer returns. We have a large client database who operate mainly on Amazon, Shopify, and other e-commerce platforms.
We Ship Global Forwarding is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Freight Forwarder to join our proactive and forward-thinking team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the transportation of goods, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of international shipping regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage, coordinate, and oversee the end-to-end freight forwarding process for air, sea, and land shipments.
* Communicate with clients, suppliers, and transport companies to ensure smooth and efficient shipment of goods.
* Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs declarations, and invoices.
* Monitor shipments to ensure they are on schedule and resolve any issues that arise.
* Negotiate rates with carriers and maintain relationships with logistics partners.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
* Provide excellent customer service and support to clients, addressing inquiries and providing updates on shipment status.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation related to shipments.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Freight Forwarder or in a similar logistics role.
* Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations and procedures.
* Proactive, forward-thinking, and dynamic approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
* Commercially minded with a strong understanding of cost-effective shipping strategies.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
* Effective communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software.
* Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
* Flexibility to handle changing priorities and meet deadlines.
