Day to Day duties
Working as a 7.5 Tonne Home Delivery Driver your duties will include:
* Working as part of a two-person team
* Driving 7.5 tonne vehicles safely and efficiently
* Ensuring all loads are safe and secure
* Conducting pre and post vehicle inspections
* Completing any paperwork
* Transporting homeware goods
* Making timely deliveries to customer's houses
* Lifting and carrying
* Abiding by driving rules and regulations
* Following company policies and procedures
* Being prepared to go the extra mile
* Providing excellent customer service
Essential Skills
As a 7.5 Tonne Driver you will need to:
1. Have held a valid UK Category C1 Driving Licence for a minimum of three months
2. Hold a valid UK CPC card and Digi Card
3. No more than six penalty points for minor infringements
4. No major endorsement codes
5. Excellent communication skills
