About the role- Product Data Specialist
Reporting into our Digital Experience Manager, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimising product data across all Shopify stores. This includes ensuring the accuracy and completeness of master data, handling new product additions and updates, and supporting multiple departments in New Product and Product Change Processes. There is the opportunity to grow and develop within the business in this role.
The main responsibilities for our Product Data Specialist role include but are not limited to:
* Product Data Management: Own the full product import process for all 360 brands, ensuring a seamless and efficient workflow.
* Legacy Product Maintenance: Maintain and update product data for all existing products, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
* Pricing Updates: Manage and implement pricing updates as required.
* Internal Product Documentation: Oversee the upkeep and accuracy of internal product documentation, ensuring all stakeholders have up-to-date information.
* On-Site Data Integrity: Conduct regular audits to verify product information, pricing, and imagery align with brand and company standards.
* Multilingual Product Handles: Create and maintain cross-language product handle imports for brands operating in multiple language markets.
* Software Ownership: Act as the primary owner and expert user of Matrixify, ensuring efficient data management processes.
* Metadata & SEO Optimisation: Own and refine metadata architecture to support SEO and search functionalities across all products.
* Product Archive Management: Implement and maintain structured processes for archiving discontinued or outdated products while retaining data for reference.
* Supporting on new Brand Onboarding
* Product Lifecycle Optimisation: Design and maintain a scalable product structure that supports brands at all lifecycle stages, ensuring data consistency from onboarding through to merchandising and eventual archiving.

* A starting salary of £30,000-£33,999
* 37.5 hour working week, Monday-Friday

The ideal Product Data Specialist will have previous experience of product imports, experience of working with large data sets and have strong Excel skills (including VLOOKUP, complex concatenation and IF statements). Previous experience of working with Shopify would be a bonus. Being passionate about our Company values and the brands that we work with is a must! Perhaps you might have experience as an eCommerce Data Executive, eCommerce Executive, Merchandising Assistant, Merchandising Administrator or eCommerce Product Executive.
