Job Title: Senior Audit and Financial Director
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Audit and Financial Director to join our team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading audits, financial reporting, and internal control reviews for clients across various sectors.
About the Role: In this key leadership position, you will be responsible for providing business and compliance advice to clients, developing audit scope and plans, and overseeing the hiring and training of junior staff. You will also be expected to drive business development through strategic growth initiatives and represent the firm at audit committees and shareholder meetings.
Responsibilities:
* Lead audits, financial reporting, and internal control reviews for clients across various sectors.
* Develop audit scope and plans, working closely with internal auditors and other specialists.
* Oversee the hiring, training, and development of junior staff.
* Drive business development through strategic growth initiatives.
* Represent the firm at audit committees and shareholder meetings.
* Lead a team of audit and assurance staff, managing resource allocation, compliance, and performance.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need strong technical knowledge of UK and US GAAP, IFRS, and audit standards. You should also have hands-on management experience, with the ability to lead and inspire a team of audit professionals. Additionally, you will need experience building teams, developing strategies, and driving business development initiatives.
