EAL Coordinator
Location: Enfield EN3 4
Start Date: January 2024
Key Responsibilities
Provide tailored support to early additional language learners, including asylum seekers, addressing both emotional and academic needs.
Deliver high-quality instruction and support, including the language of the curriculum, to EAL new arrivals.
Foster a sense of belonging and inclusion for students, supporting their integration into the school and community.
Essential Skills and Experience
A genuine heart for the students and their success.
Deep understanding of the needs of asylum seekers and other vulnerable EAL learners.
Fluency in a community language is highly desirable.
Proven experience teaching EAL students and delivering curriculum-based language instruction.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
