JOB DESCRIPTION Role title: HR Operations Adviser Reports to: TBC Location: Reading (Hybrid working pattern – at least 3 days per week at the hub location) Hours of work: 35 hours per week SMCR Function: This is a Conduct role Purpose of role This role is instrumental in delivering great HR service and superlative employee experience at Ascot Lloyd through a credible and trusted HR operations excellence The role holder will support in the development and delivery of efficient, effective and timely HR operations support so as to ensure an outstanding experience for our employees and to support the wider HR team to deliver service excellence. Key Responsibilities Support the wider HR team and business to deliver a best-in-class HR function. Manage our current HRIS system, maintaining accurate and compliant records whilst Managing and supporting the implementation and migration to a new HRIS system. Work with the wider HR team to support on annual processes across the employee lifecycle from ‘Hire to retire’ such as: reward, recruitment, management information and other core activities. Act as a main point of contact for HR enquiries, seeking pragmatic resolution in a timely manner, and escalating as appropriate. Ensure policies and procedures are focussed on a competitive employee value proposition (Attract, Retain and Develop the very best talent in the industry), fit for purpose and up to date. Support a ‘client first’, fully inclusive, resourcing experience which enhances our brand. Consistently review processes and workflow to drive efficiency and employee satisfaction. Undertake projects as necessary to support the business’ strategic initiatives. Experience of migrating to, and/or using, developing and maintaining HR Information Systems. Experience of Data analytics and complex problem resolution – high level of data fluency Experience of Agile working / Six Sigma Preferred – CIPD Level 2/3 qualified (or similar). The ability to interpret policy and procedures and apply to employee experience and modernise policies Experience in an organisation / industry that has experienced rapid growth, transformation and/or best practice / functional excellence Experience of working in a high paced, high change environment.
