The Role
Reporting to the Technical Manager, the Welding Product Demonstrator will play a key role in showcasing and demonstrating a full range of welding equipment, providing expert technical support, and assisting with training sessions for customers and distributors. This dynamic position requires nationwide travel to customer sites, trade shows, and industry events, ensuring hands-on engagement and professional representation of our products.

Key Responsibilities will include:
Conduct on-site and in-house welding demonstrations for customers and distributors.
Provide technical support and training on welding equipment, including setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
Assist in the development of training programs at our the local training academy.
Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to represent the company
Work closely with the sales team to support product sales and customer engagement.
Offer feedback to the technical team regarding product improvements and market trends.
Maintain and prepare welding equipment for demonstrations.
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of welding processes and procedures, along with hands-on experience in the field. They should be proactive in demonstrating welding techniques, troubleshooting equipment, and supporting product applications. A strong understanding of industry needs, market trends, and welding technology advancements is essential. Additionally, commercial awareness and experience in a related sector will be beneficial, ensuring they can effectively communicate technical information to customers, support sales efforts, and contribute to the overall success of the business.
Key Skills Required Include:
Experience in welding (MMA, MIG, TIG, and plasma cutting preferred).
Good knowledge of welding equipment and consumables.
Current and relevant industrial experience or time served apprentice in welding /fabrication.
Previous experience in a welding demonstrator, trainer, or sales support role is advantageous.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and travel across the UK as required.
A valid UK driving license is essential.
A professional manner to confidently discuss products
Ability to communicate well in all situations and at all levels of an organisation
