My client is a dynamic construction company specialising in commercial builds, including medical centres, day care centres, and university facilities. Their projects range from GBP5 million to GBP20 million in value, and they pride themselves on delivering high–quality results that meet our clients' needs.
Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate currently be in a Project Management role or will be a Site Manager/Senior Site Manager from ideally a Tier One construction firm and be eager to take a step up. Either way all candidates will be looking to advance their career by taking on challenging and rewarding projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
* Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
* Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
* Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project delivery.
* Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry
* SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS qualifications are a must.
* Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
* Familiarity with projects for universities, particularly within the Cambridge area.
* Experience, working on datacentres, schools, hospitals/medical centres would be beneficial.
Location Requirements: Candidates should reside in or near Cambridgeshire and be willing to travel to project sites in Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, and Suffolk as needed.
