The Medical and Emergency Care division are seeking a tenacious Lead Rota Coordinator to join the Medical Rostering and Recruitment team. Working alongside a team of 4 other Lead Rota Coordinators, and with the support of our Rota Team Lead, you will be responsible for your own area of work, ensuring rosters are delivered and executed in a cost-effective way that does not compromise on quality or safety.
The ideal candidate will be flexible, responsive to our dynamic environment and able to maintain a kind and compassionate demeanour under pressure. You will enjoy working with people and excel in a fast-paced environment. NHS or rostering experience is beneficial but not necessarily essential.
To support the operational day to day running of the service including the design and implementation of systems and processes to achieve this, in particular:
To monitor and co-ordinate all medical / nursing rotas across the Directorate
To co-ordinate, log and monitor all types of leave for medical/ nursing staff
To act as the first point of contact for issues relating to Resident Doctors or nurses (e.g. annual leave, study leave, shift swaps, locum / bank cover).
To compile absence spread sheets and conduct back to work interviews with Resident doctors.
Responsible for maintaining Patchwork Roster and Patchwork Bank applications
