Purpose of the Role:
Reporting to the People Director, this role will play a leading role in shaping, managing, and overseeing our reward and benefits programs, ensuring our structure is fair, competitive, and aligned with the team’s strategic goals.
Key Accountabilities:
* Develop a reward strategy that aligns with the team’s overall business goals, conducting market research to ensure we remain competitive to attract, retain, and engage our employees.
* Manage the employee flexible benefits program, including health and wellbeing benefits, pension plans, holidays and paid time off, salary sacrifice initiatives and other flexible benefits.
* Implement performance-based bonuses, incentives, and merit-based pay increases.
* Benchmark salaries and design and maintain salary bands and ranges for different job positions.
* Conduct job evaluations to determine the relative value and complexity of different roles within the company, establishing fair and appropriate salary levels for each position.
* Analyse internal compensation data and trends and make informed recommendations and adjustments.
* Monitor reward practices through market trends and industry best practice.
* Lead on the implementation of any new pay and employee benefit initiatives, providing advice and direction to all levels of employees and leaders across McLaren Racing.
* Lead effective communication campaigns that promote our reward and benefits programs and investment in our people.
* Collaborate with our finance team to establish and manage budgets for compensation and benefits programs.
* Collaborate with third-party vendors to negotiate benefit plans and resolve benefit-related issues .
* Ensure that all compensation and benefits programs comply with relevant employment laws and regulations.
Job requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience in managing reward and benefits programmes.
* Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to inform strategic decisions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
* Passion for developing reward programmes that drive a competitive advantage and a positive workplace culture
* Experience with HRIS systems and data analytics tools.

McLaren Racing is based at the iconic McLaren
Technology Centre (MTC) near Woking. Here at McLaren, we offer hybrid working with 3 days a week based in the MTC.
Our state of the art, sustainable campus offers
many facilities including a gym, restaurant and indoor and outdoor break-out
areas, as well as direct access to park and common land. The MTC is connected
to Woking mainline station via regular shuttle buses, from which London
Waterloo is a 30 minute train ride.
