Position title: International Brand Manager - Yankee Candle
Location: Manchester area (Cheadle) or London (Hammersmith), UK
Reports to: Senior Regional Marketing Manager
Contract type: Permanent, hybrid working system
Your Role & Team in a Nutshell
As an International Brand Manager, you will lead the Home Fragrance brands (Yankee Candle, Home Inspiration, WoodWick, Chesapeake Bay Candle) across EMEA and APAC regions. You will drive consumer demand and market share through deep consumer, product, and market understanding. Your main focus will be on adapting and implementing global brand strategies, managing international assortments and pricing, and ensuring brand consistency.
You will work independently, while being a member of the Regional Marketing Team of five.
We will help you achieve your goals and develop by providing regular feedback and access to online training courses.
Your Key Responsibilities:
1. Build annual brand marketing and business plans aligned with P&L goals and regional priorities.
2. Leverage data and ROI mindset to select key projects and initiatives.
3. Understand consumer insights and partner with global brand teams to support business strategies.
4. Develop and activate insight-led brand positioning to drive growth.
5. Deliver revenue and profit targets by executing key initiatives on time and in full.
6. Manage international portfolio assortment, including localizing new product development and launches.
7. Use analytics to inform innovation pipeline and improve market assortment.
8. Execute international brand, distribution, and merchandising strategies.
9. Adapt global selling stories and commercialization plans.
10. Develop and execute consumer communications adapted from global strategies.
11. Lead pricing and promotional strategies; analysing plans to recommend enhancements.
12. Monitor brand performance and adapt strategies as needed with global brand and local teams.
13. Conduct in-market store checks quarterly and lead SKU Health Check processes.
What You'll Need
Minimum:
1. Degree in Business Management/Marketing or related fields.
2. Significant experience in brand management and/or marketing, incl. successfully launched new products from concept to market success in an international company, preferably in FMCG or CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods).
3. Fluent in English (written & spoken).
4. Willing to travel domestically 20% of the time.

2. Skilled in recommending and managing pricing strategies to maximise value.
3. Experienced in diagnosing business performance using market data (e.g., Nielsen, Circana) and other POS/shipment data systems.
4. Proficient in leveraging consumer insights and analytics to drive brand leadership and sales.
5. Understanding of cultural differences.
