Due to continued success, we are currently looking for a Sales and Marketing Assistant to join us. The ideal candidate would preferably possess some experience or knowledge of the Trades, DIY or Construction industry and experience in Sales, Marketing or Business Development. Previous experience in a Sales or Marketing role Some knowledge of the Trades, DIY or construction industry Previous experience selling on eBay or Amazon Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Creative mind with the ability to design marketing artwork Be fully IT literate in the main Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc) You'll be a charismatic, “people person” Willing to deliver a consistently high level of service A clear, calm and friendly telephone manner You should be confident dealing with queries, taking customer orders, offering technical advice, and promoting the key brands, products and services What will your role look like? Assist with lead generation Qualify product leads Follow up enquiries & quotations Assisting in the development of the marketing strategy Updating the company websites with new images, content and research/industry articles Creating regular and engaging content for the company's various social media profiles (LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube etc) Creating and delivering marketing campaigns (i.e. LinkedIn Email shots) Cataloguing media (i.e. site & product photos/videos) Assisting in planning & attending networking events (i.e. exhibitions) Carry out market research to develop industry-relevant content Gain enquiries through calls and emails for our Service & parts departments Arranging meetings and site visits for the Service Engineers Some Account Management of existing and generated customers General admin duties within the Sales & Marketing department What can you expect in return?
