The post is that of a Generic Staff Nurse and the post holder will be expected to undertake duties within care of the Elderly for Dementia and Delirium patients on ward 15. The post holder will carry out a range of assigned tasks involving direct and indirect care for the benefit of the patient/client in accordance with agreed protocols. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that all policies and procedures are observed, and meet Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB requirements, as well as NMC Standards and Codes of Conduct.
Job Overview
We are looking for dynamic, forward-thinking and committed nurses to join our dedicated teams within ward 15 care of the elderly. The successful candidates will have excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering high-quality person-centred care. We provide all new staff with an induction period, a buddy nurse and the opportunity to join our Clinical Supervision programme. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Applicant requirements
You must have appropriate UK professional registration. This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service. Welsh language skills are desirable.
