Responsibilities of the Assistant Manager:
* Manage the preparation of annual accounts, tax computations, and VAT returns for diverse farming and rural businesses
* Provide financial analysis, projections, and tax planning services to support client decision-making and business growth
* Liaise with HMRC, maintain up-to-date accounting records, and deliver varied administrative support
* Represent the team at local agricultural events, enhancing the firm's visibility and client connections
Requirements of the Assistant Manager:
* Qualification or near-qualification in AAT, ACA, or ACCA, or equivalent experience in a similar role
* Solid technical knowledge in accounts preparation and tax compliance for varied business entities
* Attention to detail, logical thinking, and the ability to work independently with initiative
* Experience using accounting and tax software and servicing diverse client portfolios
