Job Title: Manufacturing and Quality Manager
Salary: £55,516 - £60,000 (Depending on Experience)
Location: Peterborough

The Opportunity
A position is available within our Machining Facility Leadership team at the Peterborough Engine facility, for a Manufacturing and Quality Manager to develop and enhance our machining capabilities, processes, and equipment. Reporting directly into the Machining Facility Manager, you will lead a team of 8-15 personnel with full technical responsibility across the Machining value streams.
What You Will Do:
* Provide support and guidance through the analysis and diagnosis of facility manufacturing and quality issues.
* Lead cross-functional teams to ensure all customer needs are met daily.
* Establish and monitor general policies and guidelines for projects under your control.
* Impact key quality goals including Continuous Improvement, Delivery Timeliness, Equipment Accuracy, and Operational Efficiency.
* Manage new product programs ensuring customer expectations are met.
* Develop and execute annual Business / Cost Centre Plans.
* Accountable for specific goals on safety, employee engagement, product quality, and operational efficiency.
* Develop an effective network to ensure a thorough understanding of business objectives and customer requirements.
Skills You Have:
Degree Requirement: Degree or equivalent experience desired.
* Demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and inspire.
* Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
* Knowledge of quality management methods and techniques.
Top Candidates may demonstrate some of the following skills:
* Educated to degree level in an Engineering or Business Management related discipline or equivalent experience.
* Supervisory/leadership experience.
* Demonstrated knowledge of component manufacturing processes.
Additional Info:
This role currently operates a hybrid working model; to allow for 2 remote working days per week.
