Job overview
The purpose of the Ward Clerk is to ensure that all patients admitted have all relevant documentation in place on arrival, ensuring that the Trust's electronic systems are kept up to date and that key elements of the patient's pathway are recorded on the relevant systems ensuring the patient's pathway is correct on arrival and discharge.
Main duties of the job
This post is to be based in Ward 25 at Doncaster Royal Infirmary, working Monday and Tuesday. We are looking to hire an enthusiastic individual to join our well-established team.
We are looking for someone who works well under pressure, is keen to learn, is a great team player but is self-motivated and can work independently and as part of a team. The post holder will be required to assist with all the admin and clerical duties as the ward requires.
