We are seeking a Building Estimator to join a well-established construction main contractor on a permanent basis. This company delivers new build commercial projects and refurbishment schemes across education, commercial, and transportation sectors, with project values up to £15 million.


This role is open to both experienced and junior candidates who are eager to develop their careers within the construction industry. It is a full-time, office-based position, with flexible working available following a successful probation period.


Key Responsibilities

* Prepare detailed cost estimates for refurbishment and new build projects across various sectors.
* Work on rail-related building projects in public-access areas.
* Ensure accurate data entry and documentation using Excel and Word.
* Collaborate with internal teams to review project specifications and client requirements.


Requirements

* Proven experience as a Building Estimator OR a strong desire to develop in this field as a Junior Estimator.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
