PE Specialist
St Andrew’s Fox Covert RC Primary School
Salary: £33,594 - £50,589 (pro-rata for part-time)
Hours: 7.58 per week (One day a week, day to be agreed)
St Andrew’s Fox Covert RC Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and resilient PE teacher, who is committed to partnership working.
We welcome applications from practitioners who will work to ensure learners at St Andrew’s develop the knowledge, skills, and attributes they need to demonstrate four key capacities – to be successful learners, confident individuals, responsible citizens, and effective contributors. Planning, teaching and assessing, enriching and enjoyable learning experiences is an essential part of the position. Our school benefits from a diverse staff team with a range of experiences and interests. We have a team of Pupil Support Assistants, 7 class teachers, a Principal Teacher. The school is well supported by a Business Manager, a School Administrator and a Service Support Officer.

Salaries will be in accordance with the Scheme of Salaries and Conditions of Service for Teaching Staff in School Education.
This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
