As an Operational Craft Engineer, what will you be doing?
Perform planned maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure mechanical and electrical reliability
Drive defect handling, machine performance, and efficiency improvements using IWS principles
Train, coach, and develop team members and apprentices to enhance engineering skills
Operate manufacturing equipment as required and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Adhere to safety legislation, maintain high hygiene standards, and report performance metrics effectively
The Billingham manufacturing site of KP Snacks is a dynamic hub of engineering excellence, driving the production of some of the UK’s most iconic savoury snacks. Here in the UK, we're about 2,400 strong, spread across seven factories and our Slough HQ. Diversity isn't just a buzzword for us. Qualifications : City & Guilds Level 3/NVQ Level 3 in mechanical or electrical engineering (essential); HNC and PLC skills (desirable)
Technical Expertise : Proficiency in fault finding, electrical wiring, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems
Strong analytical skills with experience in data interpretation and technical report writing
