Gas Heating Engineer / Surveyor and Auditor
Contract Type: Full time – 12 month Fixed term contract
Hours of work: 36 or 40 hours per week*
Salary Range: £37,080 to £43,190 per annum*
Location: Telford – Covering Shropshire and Staffordshire

About the role:
We are looking for a Gas Heating Engineer / Surveyor and Auditor to join our team. Do you have experience in the installation of boilers and heating systems, along with knowledge of compliance testing? Then we may just have the role for you.
What the role involves:
* Conducting scheduled audits within agreed timelines, ensuring full compliance with legislative requirements and industry best practices
* Inspecting installations for safety and compliance, while providing support and training to the Heating Engineers and Management team
* Handling technical enquiries and offering expert guidance on Gas Safe regulations
* Competent in completing heat loss calculations
* Supervising trade operatives to ensure quality and adherence to safety standards

About you:
* Have a City and Guilds qualification in either plumbing/ Gas fitting or equivalent.
* Have completed ACS or ACOPS assessment.
* Possess a full UK driving licence
* Be able to demonstrate that you have post qualification experience in a gas environment
* Familiarity with a range of gas central heating systems is essential
* Be proficient in completing online surveys, audits, and related documentation—strong IT skills are essential
* Have a strong focus on quality of work and safety, and a keen eye for detail and accuracy
