Position Summary The Facilities Assistant plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of a company's physical workspace by performing various maintenance jobs. This role supports the Facilities Manager and helps maintain a safe, clean, and efficient environment for employees, clients, and visitors. Key Responsibilities: Maintenance and Repairs: o Assist in conducting regular inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance needs. o Ensure that office equipment, furniture, and systems are in good working order. Space Management: o Support office moves, setups, and reconfigurations as needed. o Assist in maintaining organized storage of supplies, tools, and equipment. Skills and Abilities: o Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address issues quickly and effectively. o Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. o Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Physical Requirements: o Ability to lift and move items, putting up shelfs. o Comfortable working on ladders or in confined spaces. o Prolonged periods of standing, walking, or bending as needed.
