The Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Data Analyst and Exams Officer to join our dynamic team at Hurworth School. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and organizing both internal and external examination timetables, while also analysing data to improve our processes and outcomes. Additionally, you will focus on supporting assessments through our MIS system. If you have a keen eye for detail, a passion for data analysis, and a talent for efficient scheduling, we would love to hear from you.

1. GCSE Maths and English grade 4-9 (A-C) or Level 2 Basic Skills (Numeracy and Literacy) or equivalent - Essential
2. Relevant qualification at Level 3 or above such as business administration, exams administration, data management - Essential

1. At least 2 years' experience working in role(s) involving the maintenance and analysis of data - Essential
2. Knowledge of examination regulations and processes - Essential
3. Knowledge of GDPR requirements and understanding of confidentiality - Essential
4. Experience of establishing and maintaining a range of management information systems, including complex databases and spreadsheets - Essential
5. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with a high level of accuracy - Essential
6. Ability to manage pupil behaviour effectively within an examination room - Essential
7. Present information in a logical and systematic manner - Essential
8. Work under pressure - Essential
9. Ability to work successfully as part of a team and prioritise own work with minimum supervision - Essential
10. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing with a range of different audiences including providing sensitive feedback to parents and other professionals regarding pupil development - Essential
