Primary Special Educational Needs Teacher

Teaching Personnel are working with a number of primary schools in the Trafford area, Greater Manchester who have a specialist provision for pupils with SEN. SEN Teacher Responsibilities:
* Ability to plan each session of teaching.
* Support pupils through their educational and social-emotional journey
* Providing each pupil with holistic and engaging sessions which meet their needs and advance their educational and social-emotional journey
* Completing lesson reports and providing feedback on pupils progress to parents.
* Teach curriculum subject, Maths, English, and Science to pupils with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD / SLD), or other Additional Educational Needs referred to Targeted Provision.
SEN Teacher Experience
* Hold Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status / QTS / QTLS)
* Have a minimum 1 year teaching experience
* Have experience working with pupils with SEN including SEMH, MLD, SLD, and / or other Additional Educational Needs
* Experience, knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and Keeping Children Safe in Education.
* Enhanced DBS
* Two professional references
* You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote / online assignments

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
