Contractor & Consultant Management: Manage contractors on-site as the client, ensuring compliance with health and safety, environmental, and quality standards. Coordinate with external consultants and NEC Supervisor teams.
Commercial Support: Provide commercial support to the team by evaluating early warnings, compensation events, cost analysis, and contract management, ensuring the project remains within budget.
Technical Support: Support technical teams by reviewing RFIs (Requests for Information), assessing design buildability, and ensuring the site information aligns with the project requirements.
Market-Ready Parcels: Work with the team to identify and manage parcels for open-market sale, ensuring parcels are delivered as "oven-ready" sites with the necessary infrastructure and utility connections.
Small Works Packages:
De-risking: Identify and scope smaller works packages that will help de-risk larger infrastructure packages. Manage subcontractors as Principal Contractors (PC), ensuring safety, quality, and compliance throughout.
Documentation & Compliance: Ensure the proper preparation of all required documentation such as F10, CPP, CEMP, and permits, while maintaining quality assurance (Fieldview, ITPs, MAFs).
Utility Works Delivery:
Utility Management: Oversee the delivery of utility works, managing subcontractors or acting as the client to ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality standards.
QA and Handover: Manage quality assurance and ensure seamless handovers of completed utility works to the appropriate stakeholders.
Team & Stakeholder Management:
Line Management & Leadership: Lead technical, commercial, and build teams, driving performance and collaboration. You will also manage direct reports, team meetings, and actions.
Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate between internal teams (development, sales, technical, commercial) and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and smooth communication throughout the project.
Reporting: Provide regular progress updates, including detailed weekly reports, PRM (Project Risk Management) reports, and presentation materials for senior leadership.
About You:
Proven Leadership: You have extensive experience in leading infrastructure projects, managing multidisciplinary teams, and delivering high-value projects.
Project Management Expertise: You possess strong project management skills, with experience overseeing all stages of a large infrastructure project from preconstruction to delivery.
Commercial & Technical Acumen: You combine both technical knowledge of infrastructure systems with a solid understanding of the commercial aspects of construction projects, such as budgeting, cost analysis, and contract management.
Health & Safety & Compliance Knowledge: You are highly skilled in ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance on-site, with a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements.
Strong Stakeholder Engagement: You are able to effectively manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth coordination across the project.
