Band 3 Outpatient Front of House Receptionist
To provide a courteous reception service to patients and clinicians in line with office procedures, contributing to the overall efficient and effective running of designated outpatient clinics.
Main Duties of the Job
We are looking for an Out-patient Front of House Receptionist to support the Out-patient department. The successful candidate will be expected to provide a courteous reception service to patients and clinicians, work closely with nursing and medical staff, manage the booking of designated follow-up appointments, and work effectively as part of the outpatient team.
The successful candidate is required to demonstrate the Trust values, the responsibilities of the job description, and person specification. In particular, you should have proven experience of working with the public in an administrative position. You will be expected to give excellent customer care in a busy and high-pressure working environment, working across multiple outpatient clinic locations. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a high attention to detail, and accuracy. Working shifts are 8am - 4pm and 10am - 6pm, Monday to Friday.
