Junior Operations Analysts (JOA) reside in the Command Centre, providing round the clock, dedicated Level 1/2 Infrastructure monitoring support for all of Kingfisher’s banners. This is a key role to the incident management process, responsible for accurately identifying and reporting any issues on live service applications. In addition to monitoring, the JOAs are also responsible for performing initial problem determination and recovery prior to directing issues to the appropriate dedicated application and technology teams.
What's the job
1. To work 12-hour shifts (24x7) managing IT services in accordance with Kingfisher operational policies and procedures.
2. Monitor IT production services of the operating companies that form Kingfisher PLC.
3. Work with experienced team members to develop business knowledge, key capabilities, and essential skills in readiness for promotion to next role.
4. Have a genuine interest in Retail and how customer needs are changing, particularly online
5. Fix production incidents in accordance with agreed procedures and where necessary co-ordinate the resolution of more difficult incidents by working closely with technical support personnel.
6. Form effective relationships with colleagues so implementation of additional bridge responsibilities is seamless.
7. Good general knowledge of IT software tools (EG: Microsoft Windows, MS Excel)
