An exciting opportunity to join the Stafford House Study Holidays Head Office team and play a key role in designing our fun, engaging and educational summer programmes. This permanent position could be perfect for an individual with management or senior level existing experience of working in residential summer school programmes. This role is based in Canterbury, Kent. We may consider a hybrid remote role with travel as required to other residential locations throughout the year. You must also be available to stay in Canterbury between mid-June to end of August each year (full-board accommodation provided during this time) Who are we? We are a British Council accredited, leading provider in Study Holidays. Each summer we welcome over 6,000 young students from around the world to one of our seven centres, across the UK. Our mission is to provide our students with a fun and educational holiday experience, which includes English language classes and engaging activities and excursions. What is the role: We are looking for an individual who is passionate about the summer school experience with meticulous planning skills and a detail-orientated attitude to work. Here are just some of the duties: Responsibility for the planning of junior programmes both at our summer centres and at our year-round schools in the UK and US. Communicating closely with our customers and making all attraction bookings across our 7 centres. Updating information and working flexibility as numbers fluctuate throughout the year Responsible for the recruitment and selection of our activity leaders and managers and will support them in setting up and managing the excursions and onsite activities at their centres. Efficiently plan and book all attractions and keep suppliers updated regarding changes throughout the year Collaborate closely with our Transport and Logistics Team to ensure appropriate travel arrangements are booked and confirmed to support all excursions Quality control of the Activity and Excursions programme as well as team management Form part of the Stafford House Study Holidays Safeguarding team About you: Experience of working at residential summer centres is essential You will have creative flair yet have a keen eye for detail Have great team spirit A solution-orientated attitude with excellent communication skills You will be familiar with Office 365 applications and Canva You must be student-experience focused with an understanding of safeguarding practices You must be available to travel with residential stays as required this includes staying in residence in Canterbury between June-August each year You must be willing to work overtime during peak times (July/August) Please see the job description for a full list of duties and responsibilities We reserve the right to close the application process early upon finding a suitable candidate.
