Job overview
The Haematology Myeloma service is seeking to recruit a registered nurse who is looking to develop their clinical skills and experience of managing a group of patients affected by myeloma. You will be a vital team player working within a vibrant, forward-thinking team. We are looking to appoint a professional, skilled nurse with excellent communication skills and a passion for providing a high standard of care to the service.
Main duties of the job
The post is a clinical nurse specialist role, within the Trust, integral to the provision of high quality Myeloma Services for patients. The post holder is required to work autonomously in nurse led clinics. They will have clinical responsibilities and provide specialist knowledge care and support to patients diagnosed with a myeloma.
Person specification
* Venepuncture and Cannulation Skills
* Knowledge of haemoglobinopathies
* Passion for health inequalities
