Job Title: Senior HR Advisor
Location: Lurgan
Duration: Full Time / Permanent / On Site
Salary: 40-42k
VANRATH are delighted to be working with our client in the search for a HR Advisor to operate across NI/ROI. You willl support managers in their Lurgan, Monaghan and Dublin sites with specialist advice on legislative, procedural, and policy matters.
You will be responsible for:
1. Assist with HR and cross-departmental projects as required.
2. Collaborate on projects to improve organisational culture and employee engagement.
3. Develop and deliver training sessions aligned with legal requirements and business needs.
4. Implement and support performance management systems, including the creation of employee development plans.
5. Maintain and update company policies, ensuring compliance with changing legislation and industry standards.
6. Manage the full employee life cycle processes.
7. Produce and present HR KPIs to senior leadership, offering recommendations based on the data.
8. Provide expert advice on employment relations matters (e.g., investigations, grievances, disciplinary actions) across Ireland.
9. Support the organisation through change initiatives such as TUPE, restructuring, and talent management.
About You
10. CIPD Level 5 qualified or higher or a minimum of 5 years HR Generalist experience.
11. HR legislation / Employment Law understanding / knowledge for both the ROI and NI.
12. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver a message to all levels.
13. Proactive and pragmatic with balanced and sound judgement.
14. Responsive problem solver and solution focused.
15. Strong people skills with the ability to build positive working relationships and drive accountability amongst the Management Team and within the wider business.
16. Proven experience in advising on HR associated matters (grievance, disciplinary, performance management, absence, etc.)
17. Full Driving licence and access to a form of transport to fulfil the role (mileage paid)
