The Role:
We're currently seeking an enthusiastic Electrical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in London. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a few years of experience in building services engineering who's looking to take the next step in their career and grow within a forward–thinking consultancy.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the design and development of electrical systems for a variety of building types including commercial, residential, and mixed–use projects.
2. Produce detailed design drawings, specifications, and calculations in line with project requirements and relevant standards.
3. Work closely with senior engineers, architects, and other disciplines to support the delivery of coordinated and efficient design solutions.
4. Attend project meetings and contribute to design reviews and discussions.
5. Carry out site inspections under supervision to support the design and construction process.
6. Continue to develop technical knowledge and stay informed about industry standards and emerging technologies.
Requirements:
1. Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. 2–5 years of experience in electrical design within the building services sector.
3. Familiarity with UK building regulations and relevant standards.
4. Working knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and/or Dialux.
5. Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to project work.
6. A proactive attitude and a desire to learn and grow professionally.
