Applications are invited for the post of Events Manager (Student Recruitment) in the Marketing and Communication Department.
The successful candidate will become an integral member of the University’s Events Team, which brings together event professionals responsible for the delivery of high-profile University events including graduations, public lectures, showcase events, open days, applicant visit days and other reputation enhancing events and hosting opportunities.
The position offers an exciting opportunity for those looking to develop their career and enhance their skills in event management. You will be responsible for the operational planning and delivery of all our student recruitment focused events, including Royal Holloway’s flagship Open Days, Applicant Visit Days and on-campus outreach events. Working closely with the Head of Events and a small team of student recruitment events colleagues, whom you will line manage, you will ensure that all events are delivered to the highest standard and deliver maximum impact amongst target audiences, supporting Royal Holloway’s reputation and growth ambitions.
We are looking for candidates with a good knowledge of the UK Higher Education sector and an understanding of events in the context of the sector, particularly for undergraduate and postgraduate recruitment. You will be highly organised, with excellent event management skills and a natural collaborator with the interpersonal skills to manage activity and seek the required support and input from large networks of colleagues across all areas of the University.
