Senior Landscape Architect Job in Leeds, West Yorkshire
in Leeds offering home working 4 days a week! They also offer a car allowance and a salary of up to £45,000. With UK coverage they can be flexible where you are based so they also consider anyone within a commutable distance of their offices in South Wales or Durham offices.
Your projects will mostly revolve around energy infrastructure, waste, minerals, and commercial schemes. We’re looking for someone with solid experience in landscape and visual impact assessments and a flair for feasibility studies.
Role & Responsibilities
1. Conduct landscape and Visual impact appraisals, along with Zone of Theoretical Visibility analysis, and prepare the planning applications and environmental statements following this
2. Create plans, illustrative materials, and graphic presentations to complement reports and studies
3. Collaborate effectively with internal teams and clients to accurately understand and interpret their instructions
4. Undertake landscape design responsibilities, including large-scale master planning, softwork, and mitigation design, while excluding detailed landscape or urban design tasks
5. Present design concepts to clients, planning officers, and other stakeholders
6. Facilitate the discharge of landscape-related planning conditions, such as developing landscape management and maintenance plans
Required Skills & Experience
7. 2 – 5 years of experience post chartered
8. Proven knowledge of AutoCAD, GIS and BNS planting design software
9. Must have a degree in Landscape Architecture
10. Strong written and verbal communication skills
11. CMLI is essential
12. Extensive knowledge of LVIA projects and Landscape Planning.
