Salary: £120 - £180 per day

GSL Education is seeking a dynamic and proactive Art and Design Teacher to work in schools in Ashington .
Job Summary:
As an Art and Design Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons to students across KS3 and KS4. Your role will involve planning and preparing lesson materials, assessing student progress, and creating a positive and stimulating learning environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in art and design, excellent communication skills, and the ability to inspire students to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons in Art and Design.
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support to help them improve.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to inspire and motivate students.
- Support students in developing their artistic skills and understanding of design principles.
- Organise and display student artwork, promoting their achievements within the school community.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialisation in Art and Design.
- Experience teaching Art and Design at KS3 and KS4 levels.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for art and design.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to inspire and motivate students.
- A proactive and creative approach to teaching.
