Applications close Wednesday 18th December at 5pm A chance to thrive We’re looking for a Senior Customer Value Manager (Application Journeys) to join our Help Me Borrow Acquisition team at Tesco Bank, part of Barclays Bank UK Plc. This is an ownership role at the heart of the value stream and will be key in delivering improvements in our credit card and loan application journeys, that are central to our strategic growth plans. You’ll be leading on defining, shaping and delivering key enhancements across the full journey to make it easier for our customers to apply digitally, and measuring the impact of your work. You’ll be responsible from day 1, for tracking and maintaining our application forms whilst working closely with our Agile delivery teams to scope, prioritise and deliver change. You’ll be able to see your developments come to life and make a real difference for our customers by running a cross-functional squad including technology, design, risk and customer service. What you’ll be doing • Ownership and oversight of all aspects (performance, customer outcomes, roadmap) of our application journeys, collaborating across our matrix structure to get things done. • Collaborating across the business to deliver the tactical and strategic enhancements required to make a difference. • Keeping pace with the market – know what good looks like and what customers expect, and adapt our plans on an ongoing basis to ensure we fulfil these expectations. • Managing all aspects of ongoing performance reporting and correction as a key part of the overall acquisition team. We need you to have • Experience of scoping and driving positive change for customers, ideally in a retail financial services environment. • A good knowledge of what makes a strong journey, and how this translates to improvements to income, cost and customer outcomes. • Experience of operating in a fast-paced acquisition environment, balancing competing demands of BAU and longer term development. • Highly literate and numerate with strong written and verbal presentational skills, and a commercial mindset. And if you have any of these, even better • Specific cards and loans application journey experience. • Technical expertise across the journey, including working with Agile teams • Experience in the use of analytical tools such as Adobe and Splunk. • Overall commercial cards and loans experience.
