Main Purpose of Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, team player to join our Purchasing Team within the Finance Department of the Police Force. The post holder will be part of a team providing an excellent transactional service.
As part of the transactional services team, you will be required to liaise with the wider organisation to ensure requisitions and purchase orders are processed efficiently; help administer and reconcile petty cash; and manage suppliers through recording goods received notes, reconciling statements, and ensuring invoices are accurately processed in order that payments are made to suppliers on time.
Key Skills & Experience Required
You will have experience of working in an accounts payable and receivables environment, have a strong and support team ethics, and knowledge computer based accounting systems and administrative processes.
Have excellent customer service skills, being adaptable to change and be the ability to prioritise work to meet conflicting deadlines.
Shift allowances/benefits:
