Day Electrician Location: Essex Salary: £19-£20 per hour Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 (Paid 1-hour lunch break)

My client is seeking a skilled and motivated Day Electrician to join our dynamic team our site in Essex. If you're passionate about electrical systems, problem-solving, and making a real impact in an industrial environment, wed love to hear from you!
What Youll Be Doing:
Electrical Installations & Maintenance: Support site operations with electrical installations and ensure the smooth running of electrical supplies.
System Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair malfunctioning apparatus, including LV circuits, 3-phase motors, and industrial control systems.
Safety Leadership: Maintain a strong focus on safety for yourself and others, adhering to our rigorous standards.
Equipment Management: Read and interpret electrical drawings to maintain and troubleshoot systems effectively.
Bonus Opportunities: Knowledge of building MCC panels is a plus!
What Were Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you should have:
Qualifications : 18th Edition Certification (BS7671:2018).
NVQ Level 3 in Electro Technical Services or a BTEC National Certificate in Electrical Engineering.
(Optional but advantageous) City & Guilds Electrical qualifications.
Skills & Experience: At least 1 year of hands-on electrical experience in an industrial setting.
Solid understanding of PLCs, 3-phase motors, and fault-finding techniques.
Familiarity with electrical drawings and testing equipment.
