About the role
We have a brand-new opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team based in our London office.

We have a proven track record working within the Residential, Commercial, Healthcare, Science & Research and Mission Critical & Data Centre sectors. Working alongside a range of specialist engineers and consultants, you will be joining a collaborative, knowledgeable, highly engaged team who love what they do, and offer a supportive, flexible, and high performing work culture.
As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and delivering designs for a range of project types and sizes. You will work within a multidisciplinary team of engineers and support staff delivering a consistent high-quality service for clients, ensuring that repeat and new business opportunities are developed, and profitability is achieved.
In this key and varied role, you can expect to:
1. Provide detailed, coordinated and cost-efficient mechanical design advice to our varied client list.
2. Tailor a comprehensive service of specifications, calculations and reports.
3. Design mechanical engineering systems at the highest level using the latest software design packages.
4. Take responsibility for solid technical delivery in your work either alone or as part of a team.
5. Look at new ways of working and taking time out for innovation and research ensuring we keep abreast of our competitors.
6. Produce calculations, reports and specifications with good written communication skills.
7. Attend DTMs/client meetings and site inspections.
8. Work with minimal supervision and you may be responsible for your own individual projects. In this role the ability to react efficiently to multiple tasks and tight deadlines is essential.
About you
To be successful in this role you’ll need:
9. Proven experience working as a Mechanical Engineer or closely related role, with a track record delivering on a variety of complex projects.
10. Understanding of all mechanical services including heating, ventilation and air conditioning.
11. Experience working in a multi-disciplinary environment, with excellent communication skills with both internal and external clients, and a team-based work approach.
12. Use of relevant software/tools such as Revit and AutoCAD.
13. Self-awareness, an open mind, and a spirit of generosity.
14. Conversant with relevant British Standards.
15. Consultancy experience.
