An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and self-driven Principal Safety, Health & Environmental Advisor to join the MBDA team at our Bolton site. Salary: Circa £49,000 dependent on experience bonus benefits Hybrid working pattern : Where possible, we will seek to accommodate a blended approach to on-site and remote working – Such as 3 days on-site and 2 days remote working each week. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team. The role may involve infrequent travel to other MBDA UK locations. What we’re looking for from you: Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (level 6 preferred). Significant experience and expertise in Safety, Health, Environment in a manufacturing environment. Broad understanding of manufacturing and laboratory technologies. Knowledge of electronics advantageous. Knowledge of health and safety legislation, its application and interpretation relevant to MBDA operations. Ability to work as part of a team or independently. Ability to influence and engage employees at all levels in the organisation. Excellent communication skills, ability to translate complex information into easily understandable formats.
