This role is about more than just picking orders and packing boxes as we really care about our customers and our people. The warehouse team looks after goods in/out, health & safety of the site, deliveries to our stores and stock control. What are the responsibilities? Your working day will involve the usual range of tasks associated with a Warehousing role but the right people for us will have a real desire to go the extra mile to make someone’s day. On a Typical Day, You Will Accurately and efficiently pick & pack stock for stores, wholesale customers, events etc. Pick materials and ingredients for our in-house Production department following the FIFO system. Receive products from Production and ensure they are stored with correct stock rotation and easily pickable for the Online Fulfilment team. Receive and unpack deliveries. Stocktaking and stock organisation. Keep all areas clean, tidy and free from any health & safety issues/risks. Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and processes (health & safety, manual handling, stock control etc.). Excellent attention to detail to ensure picking and packing accuracy. Have a good understanding of stock control (or want to learn). Assisting in the Production and Online Fulfilment departments when required. Are there any perks? Start date: October 2024 End Date: 13th December 2024 Hours: 24 hours per week. Core hours of work are between 8am - 4:30pm Tuesday, Thursday & Friday. Normal operational hours are between 8am and 4.30pm, Monday-Friday, at our Back Ops site “The Nest”. Working outside of ‘normal’ hours may be required as we expand our operating hours.
