Position Description: Responsible for assisting providers in performing minimally invasive procedures using advanced imaging technology. Responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, operating radiologic equipment such as fluoroscopy and ultrasound, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. This role will also assist in maintaining accurate records, sterilizing equipment, and adhering to infection control protocols.
Education: An Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology.
Experience: A minimum of one year’s job-related experience or equivalent is required. Experience in Interventional Radiology preferred.
Licenses: Current Rhode Island Radiographer license.
Certifications: CPR Certification Required. Registration from the ARRT is also required.
Certification in Special Procedures required for certified position.
