Are you a skilled Manufacturing Engineer. If so, this could be the perfect role for you! This company, a leading defence and aerospace manufacturer, is seeking a talented individual to join their dynamic team as a Manufacturing Engineer Assembly and Integration.
About the Role
As the Manufacturing Engineer Assembly and Integration, you will be a key member of the Manufacturing Engineering team, responsible for ensuring that the company's products are built to the highest standards, on time and within budget. Your focus will be on supporting the multi-project manufacturing process, from compiling and updating manufacturing instructions to designing, commissioning, and proving associated tooling.
You will also play a crucial role in the industrial validation process, using tools like FMEA and FAI to resolve any technical problems that may arise during the manufacturing stage. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing configuration control by embodying design modifications into the manufacturing instructions and supporting the non-conformance process.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate for this Manufacturing Engineer Assembly and Integration role will have the following qualifications and experience:
Formal technical Engineering/Craft Apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21 and level 3 (ONC) or an equivalent further education certificate
5 years of experience within an engineering discipline
Ability to interpret design drawings and produce manufacturing build instructions for skilled and semi-skilled operators
Experience in electronic sub-assembly manufacture through to system-level builds
Knowledge of the assembly process for small/miniature electro-mechanical actuation systems
Strong team player with excellent communication skills at all levels of the organisation
