Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong Project Management and Financial Reporting expertise to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving initiatives related to financial systems, reporting frameworks, and operational improvements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities: Business Analysis: Gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements for financial reporting systems and processes. Collaborate with stakeholders to design and optimize financial reporting workflows and ensure accuracy and efficiency. Conduct gap analysis and recommend innovative solutions to meet reporting and compliance standards. Create and maintain functional specifications, data models, and process diagrams. Financial Reporting: Support the design, development, and implementation of robust financial reporting frameworks. Work with finance and accounting teams to improve month-end close processes and reporting timelines. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP). Provide expertise in the integration and utilization of financial tools, such as Oracle ERP, SAP, or other reporting platforms. Project Management: Plan, execute, and deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget, using Agile or Waterfall methodologies. Manage project timelines, risks, and resources, and maintain project documentation. Coordinate cross-functional teams, including IT, Finance, and external vendors. Lead stakeholder meetings to ensure alignment and provide updates on project progress. Data Analysis and Insights: Extract, transform, and analyze data to support decision-making and performance reporting. Create dashboards and visualizations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel to present actionable insights. Monitor KPIs and financial metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement. Required Skills and Experience: 5–8 years of experience in business analysis, with a focus on financial reporting and project management. Proficiency in financial reporting tools and systems (e.g., Oracle Financials, SAP, Hyperion, Workday). Strong project management skills with experience in tools like Jira, MS Project, or similar. Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements. Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage stakeholders at all levels. Analytical mindset with exceptional problem-solving abilities.
