We are now actively looking to recruit a Cleaning Operations Manager with responsibilities for delivering the cleaning services on prestigious sites across the region. What’s the job? To understand client’s goals and deliver outstanding service standards across the estate. To manage the cleaning operation whilst leading and motivating your staff and supervisors. To operate consistently within Client and Company policy and add value within budgetary parameters and consistently providing excellent customer service. Duties include: Ensuring all services are delivered in line with the client specification and agreed service levels Regularly communicating with client stakeholders, the cleaning team members, and management colleagues to ensure that issues are identified and resolved efficiently, and client requests are met Building positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivering excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations, whilst operating within agreed budgets Carrying out the day-to-day management of relevant employees to ensure they receive appropriate support and training to carry out their duties safely and effectively Dealing with conduct, performance, attendance and capability issues in accordance with Company policy and procedures Leading contract resourcing by working in close partnership with the HR department to recruit, select, induct and train team members Controlling wage spend in line with agreed budgets as set by the Commercial Director Monitoring client satisfaction and service delivery on a monthly basis, through client meetings, monthly reports and regular audits Carrying out random and pre-planned audits including compliance and quality on a monthly basis Oversite of the site-based training matrix for all personnel to ensure training is delivered Working with the HSQE Manager to ensure the health and safety of all employees and members of the public Ensuring site documentation is maintained and correct Ensuring that materials, consumables and machinery are available, effective, properly stored and used in line with company procedures Ensuring all administration is undertaken to provide the Company and the Client with the information required, working to strict deadlines Ensuring all Company personnel obey site rules and maintain a smart appearance, including the wearing of Company uniforms Requirements Experience of operational management/supervision of cleaning service contracts Self-starter with the ability to work independently, unsupervised and take responsibility Ability to effectively manage people and motivate them to achieve high standards Excellent organisation skills with the ability to balance competing priorities and workloads Good interpersonal skills and an ability to establish credibility quickly Excellent oral and written communication skills Possess good IT literacy skills and be able to comfortably interact with web-based reporting and accountability platforms Full 5-year employment checkable history Valid UK Driving Licence (Essential) Benefits Company laptop, mobile phone and computer Company vehicle Access to a range of nationally recognised courses to help further your career, via the Anchor Academy Auto Enrolment Pension Wagestream – access to pay as you earn it Cycle to Work Scheme Available Free Employee Assistance Programme 24/7 including access to counselling Hospital Saturday Fund Reward and Recognition awards What’s Next?
