MPI has a requirement for a Sales Director to work on-site at East Midlands Airport.
This is a temporary role initially, with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.
Hours: 40 hours per week - (flexibility may be required to meet business needs)
Rate of pay: Dependent on experience, to be discussed during application.
Position Summary:
Reporting to the MD, the Sales Director will identify new business opportunities within the UK and European markets, and develop and maintain existing client relationships to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the daily operations of the Sales & Commercial department, aligning with the company's strategic goals.
2. Develop action plans to identify, target, and secure new business opportunities.
3. Analyze market data to assess growth potential.
4. Maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients.
5. Create and implement a strategic marketing plan.
6. Coordinate sales activities across all departments.
7. Stay informed about market trends and new developments to inform business strategies.
8. Proactively improve products and services.
9. Promote the Clients' narrow-body aircraft MRO at EMA.
Requirements:
* Management degree preferred.
* Proven sales success in the aviation sector.
* Good understanding of airline maintenance requirements to support business growth.
* Knowledge of costing processes.
* Understanding of MRO structure and commercial contracts.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to build effective relationships and drive business performance.
