Tradition is currently seeking to appoint an IT Support Engineer/2nd Line Support to be based in the London office.
Main responsibilities within the IT Support Engineer/2nd Line Support position include:
* Attending and fixing any 2nd line problems with PC hardware, Software, voice and application software
* Carrying out desk moves of IT equipment
* Working with project team and 3rd line support when required
* Attending and fixing any dealer board problems
* Attending and fixing any network or cabling problems
* Building PCs and laptops as required checking that the necessary software is loaded properly in addition to standard Build
* Installing PCs monitors and Laptops as requested
* Patching and updating PC, laptops and tablet devices
* Managing and supporting corporate mobile iPhone devices
* Installing printers as requested, ensuring that necessary records are amended
* Making all administration amendments to the dealer board systems as appropriate
* Facilitating new line testing
* Responsible for reporting line faults and ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner
* Investigating long term issues and report findings to relevant parties, e.g. network, server etc
* Supporting Supplier and client relations
* Any other duties that may reasonably be requested including 1st line roles and responsibilities
Key skills and experience required in this role:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively
* Good knowledge of Microsoft products
* Good knowledge of PCs
* Knowledge of Citrix, Change control, Bloomberg, Zoom would be advantageous
* Knowledge of Dealer board systems would be advantageous.
Working Hours:
* Shift pattern between the hours of 6:30am and 6:30pm – Monday to Friday.
