Join Our Client's Expanding Team: Senior Structural Engineer Opportunity in Cheltenham
Our client is a respected and rapidly growing structural engineering practice seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Structural Engineer to join their new, second office, in Cheltenham. This is a unique opportunity to not only work directly with the Managing Director on design and coordination works but also play a pivotal role in the establishment of the new office and shaping the future of the firm as a whole. This role will be fast paced, with good work variety across varying size and project types.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the design and analysis of structural projects, ensuring safety, stability, and compliance with all relevant UK regulations and standards.
* Collaborate closely with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to deliver innovative and effective structural solutions, across a wide breadth of project types.
* Be involved in the business development and relationship origination of key contacts and customers.
* Directly support the Managing Director in the completion of design and coordination works.
* An opportunity to be instrumental in the growth and development of their new Cheltenham office.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree (BEng) or Master's Degree (MEng) in Civil or Structural Engineering.
* Chartered Engineer status (CEng) with a recognised institution such as the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE) or the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) or actively working towards chartered status.
* A minimum of 6 years' experience in structural engineering within the UK, with a proven track record of managing a wide range of projects.
* Proficiency in structural design software and a strong understanding of current UK building regulations and practices.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills, with an ability to develop strong relationships with all stakeholders.
* ‘Can do' attitude with a focus on problem solving and providing positive outcomes for customers.
What They Offer:
* Salary of £45,000 - £60,000 (depending upon experience)
