Equans is looking for a Fabric Manager to join our team in Stoke on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package.
The role holder will be responsible for the performance of Equans engineers / sub-contractors and maintaining Equans and industry standards within the Stoke Schools PFI contract. To provide advice, guidance and support to both client and engineering teams to ensure appropriate and compliant solutions and efficient customer service delivery.
What will you deliver?
1. Day to day management of Planned Preventative/Reactive Maintenance, ensuring the estate remains statutory compliant.
2. Client liaison - providing effective communication to the client and the schools within the contract.
3. Overall management of permanent, temporary and contract engineering staff.
4. Management and control of Fabric maintenance operations across the contract.
5. Report on service management in association with contract terms and conditions.
6. Ensure all jobs are managed within budget of the contract and provide technical support for the submission of extra works / quotations.
7. Ensure all technical elements of the contract meet the clients requirements.
8. Management of Sub-contractors.
9. Ensure that a consistent level of service delivery is provided
10. Innovative management to meet changing business or operational circumstances.
11. General support and advice concerning Fabric issues
12. Understand changes in Fabric legislation and regulations and implement at account level as required

Who are we looking for?
24. Time served (C&G) Fabric qualifications.
25. Good working knowledge of building trades
26. Health & Safety knowledge and experience within occupied premises
27. Good communication skills
28. IOSH
29. IPAF / PASMA Qualification (desirable)
30. Good IT skills
31. An understand the priorities, plan and organise the work and manage own time to deliver within the expected timescales.
32. Confident in own ability and is motivated to deliver, using opportunities to further develop.
