Fantastic position has become available for an experienced Associate Electrical Engineer to join an award-winning design consultancy in West London.
Our client is a global consulting engineering company who work on some of the world's most iconic projects. Their clientele includes a diverse array of architects, developers, and others providing opportunities for their employees to work on some of the most exciting and innovative projects around the world.
You will:
* Take a leading role in a number of their most prestigious projects.
* Be heavily involved in mission-critical facilities associated with aviation, healthcare, and defence sectors.
* Act as a client-facing representative and lead an engineering delivery team in providing innovative and sustainable solutions.
* Work closely with the wider Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health teams in their regional offices.
* Collaborate in a close group of engineers working together in an effective and cooperative team atmosphere with a flexible hybrid working model.
* Incorporate philosophies of sustainability, net zero carbon, digital design, modern methods of construction, and smart systems into your design work.
You should have:
* The ability to work as part of a team and take a leading role in managing engineers towards the delivery of key projects.
* Technical judgement and resourcefulness for feasibility studies, concept, scheme, and detailed design, as well as construction support phases of projects.
* Ability to represent the company to clients while understanding and delivering client needs in engineering solutions.
* A good working knowledge of UK electrical building services design, including relevant standards, codes, and regulations.
* Capability to manage the technical, cost, and programme elements of project delivery.
* Team leadership skills with collaborative aspirations.
* Outstanding organisational and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated technical abilities.
* Ideally chartered or working towards chartership.
* A proven record as a Lead Engineer.
